3 Roses: A Fun, Bold, and Light-Hearted Comedy Web Series on Aha

3 Roses: A Fun, Bold, and Light-Hearted Comedy Web Series on Aha

3 Roses Season 1 was released around three years ago and received a decent response from the audience. The story revolves around three women, their friendship, personal lives, love stories, and professional struggles. The tone of the series is casual and humorous, with most episodes driven by conversations and situations rather than a strong plot.

The lead roles in Season 1 were played by Payal Rajput, Eesha Rebba, and Poorna. Each character represents a different personality, and their chemistry is one of the major strengths of the season. The series does not take itself too seriously, and that works in its favor.

While Season 1 does not offer anything new in terms of storytelling, it succeeds as a light comedy series. Some episodes work better than others, but overall, it manages to keep viewers engaged.

That said, the show includes bold content and double-meaning humor, which makes it uncomfortable to watch with family. It is clearly targeted toward young adult audiences.

3 Roses – Season 2 Overview

3 Roses Season 2 is currently streaming on Aha. This season is planned with 8 episodes, each having a runtime of approximately 30 minutes. As of now, the first four episodes have been released, and the remaining four episodes are expected to be released soon.

Season 2 comes with noticeable changes in the cast:

  • Eesha Rebba continues from Season 1
  • Payal Rajput is not part of Season 2
  • Poorna appears only in a special appearance in the first episode

Two new female characters (the new “Roses”) are introduced, and the story now revolves around these three women starting an advertising agency together.

Story & Writing

To be very clear, 3 Roses is not story-driven. There is no strong central plot or clear objective that pushes the narrative forward. The series moves in a “go with the flow” style. Scenes happen, jokes land, characters react, and the story moves on.

This can be seen as both a minus and a plus:

  • If you expect logic, structure, or realism, you may feel disappointed.
  • If you watch it purely for entertainment, it works fine.

The situational writing is mostly engaging. Dialogues are written to generate laughs, and many scenes rely on comic timing rather than sense.

Comedy & Supporting Characters

Comedy is the backbone of Season 2, and the supporting cast plays a huge role:

  • Satya steals the show with his miserly (kanjoos) character. His timing and expressions work very well.
  • Viva Harsha brings his usual energetic and sarcastic humor, adding fun twists toward the end of episodes.
  • Prabhas Sreenu supports the comedy track nicely with situational humor.

Their presence makes many scenes entertaining, even when the writing feels weak.

Episode-Wise Brief (Season 2 – First 4 Episodes)

Episode 1
The season opens with a decent start. It continues with characters from Season 1 and introduces the two new Roses. Logic must be ignored, but the episode flows smoothly. The ending includes a surprise re-entry of a Season 1 character.

Episode 2
The newly formed ad agency gets its first project. A “Gen-Z kid” track is introduced, showing modern youth behavior in an exaggerated way. Some scenes feel unnecessary, but the episode remains watchable.

Episode 3
This episode gives some relief to the ad agency storyline. Actor Surya Srinivas appears in a key role and fits well. There is slight story progression, and Satya’s comedy works again.

Episode 4
Comedy continues with a fun track involving a relative visiting from a village. The situations are silly but entertaining. Viva Harsha’s character adds a twist at the end, creating curiosity for upcoming episodes.

Is It Family Friendly?

The answer is No.
Even though the series has good comedy, it contains:

  • Double-meaning dialogues
  • Bold and exposing scenes
  • Adult humor

So it is not suitable for family viewing.

Overall Verdict

3 Roses Season 2 (first four episodes) is entertaining if watched with the right expectations. Do not expect logic, realism, or strong storytelling. Treat it as a casual comedy series, and you will enjoy it.

The episodes are short, fast-paced, and easy to finish, which makes it a good time-pass web series.

Current Rating (for first 4 episodes):

3+ / 5

A final rating would make more sense after watching the remaining episodes.
