Ultimately, due to personal reasons, Sonia Gandhi canceled her visit to Telangana.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government took it as a prestigious task to grandly celebrate Telangana’s decade-long formation on June 2. The state government had invited Sonia Gandhi to be the chief guest at these significant celebrations, with the decision made during a cabinet meeting led by CM Revanth Reddy. The invitation was extended to Sonia Gandhi in recognition of her pivotal role in the formation of Telangana.
However, the AICC announced that Sonia Gandhi would not be attending the event. Citing health issues, the AICC stated that Sonia Gandhi had canceled her trip to Telangana. Despite being scheduled to visit Telangana on Sunday, Sonia Gandhi is unable to make the trip following doctors’ advice.
