Simple recipe for Chikoo (Sapodilla) Popsicles:

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe chikoos (sapodilla fruit)
  • 1 cup milk (you can use dairy milk or a plant-based alternative)
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk (adjust sweetness to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chikoos:
    • Peel the chikoos and remove the seeds. Cut them into small pieces.
  2. Blend:
    • In a blender, combine the chikoo pieces, milk, condensed milk, and vanilla extract (if using).
    • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into Popsicle Molds:
    • Pour the chikoo mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion.
    • Insert popsicle sticks into each mold.
  4. Freeze:
    • Place the popsicle molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely frozen.
  5. Serve:
    • To unmold the popsicles, run the molds briefly under warm water to loosen them.
    • Serve and enjoy your homemade chikoo popsicles!
