The upcoming Marvel superhero film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, is poised for a robust debut at the box office both in India and globally. As the release date approaches, it is on track to achieve the highest presale figures for a Hollywood film in India this year.
According to Sacnilk, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ has already secured approximately 276,000 ticket sales in just two days of presale, amounting to an impressive Rs 10.3 crore in revenue.The current trajectory indicates that ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ is poised to make a strong debut, potentially surpassing the Rs 30 crore milestone and positioning itself as one of India’s highest-grossing films of the year. Only five Hollywood movies have achieved an opening day collection exceeding Rs 30 crore in India, with ‘Avengers: Endgame’ leading the pack with earnings of about Rs 53.10 crore. Based on box office patterns, the film is also anticipated to enjoy a successful opening weekend.
