Khairatabad constituency MLA Danam Nagender has found himself in trouble. Hyderabad police have filed a case against MLA Danam Nagender in connection with the demolition of a compound wall on Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation property. Along with him, his associates have also been implicated in a case registered by the Jubilee Hills police.
In Gurubrahmanagar Colony, Nandagiri Hills, Road No. 69, Jubilee Hills, there is government land extending up to 800 square yards. To protect this open land, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials decided to build a boundary wall. During the construction, some people obstructed the work. In the presence of MLA Danam Nagender, his associates Gopal Naik and Ramchandar, among others, demolished the wall. Enforcement officials filed a complaint with the police regarding this matter.
Based on a complaint from V. Papayya, the Enforcement In-Charge, a case has been filed against Danam and his associates. The complaint states that the demolition of the wall caused damage worth around 10 lakhs to the GHMC. MLA.Danam Nagender has been included as A3 in this case. The police have filed charges against him and others under various sections of the IPC and PDPP Act.
