The recent heavy rains caused havoc in both Telugu states. Particularly, Khammam in Telangana and Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh were submerged in floods. Many people lost their lives, and countless others were left homeless. Both governments have announced substantial compensation to support the flood victims. At the same time, prominent figures from various fields have come forward to help. Especially from Tollywood, several film stars donated to the Chief Ministers’ Relief Funds of both states. Recently, Jabardasth fame and popular comedian Hyper Aadi contributed his share to the flood victims. On Saturday (September 21), Hyper Aadi personally handed over a donation check of ₹3 lakhs to Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Out of the ₹3 lakhs, Aadi requested ₹1 lakh be given to the flood-affected village of AK Mallavaram (Pithapuram constituency) and the remaining ₹2 lakhs to be given to his native village Pallapalli Gram Panchayat.
Hyper Aadi expressed, ‘Inspired by Pawan Kalyan, who donated ₹6 crore to support the flood victims who lost everything, I have now contributed ₹3 lakh.’ Hyper Aadi, who shines on both TV shows and the silver screen, is a die-hard fan of Power Star Pawan Kalyan. This is why he extensively campaigned for the Jana Sena Party in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. The star comedian not only campaigned in Pithapuram but also in several places where Jana Sena candidates contested. Because of this, there were widespread rumors that Aadi would be given an MLC position or a Corporation Chairman post by the Jana Sena Party. However, Hyper Aadi denied these claims.
