Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar Remembers Her ‘Appu’ on His Third Death Anniversary

Kannada film star Puneeth Rajkumar passing on October 29, 2021, left fans and admirers heartbroken. Yesterday, on his third death anniversary, many fans and celebrities fondly remembered him. His wife, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, honored her beloved “Appu” with an emotional message on social media. She posted a tribute featuring the actor on her X handle and wrote, “Appu lives in our memories and actions, guiding us every day and forever in our hearts.” Fans quickly showered her post with love and support, with one commenting, “Appu is always with you,” and another adding, “We miss you, Appu Boss.” Puneeth’s family organized a special prayer ceremony at Kanteerava Studios to honor his memory.

Reflecting on his loss, many fans recalled Puneeth not only as a star of Kannada cinema but also as a kind and humble person. One fan said, “Remembering Puneeth Rajkumar means celebrating a beloved figure who inspired many.” Another commented, “I’ll always remember you with that magical smile.”

As one of the founding members of a renowned Kannada cinema production house, Puneeth helped create hits like KGF, Kantara, Salaar, and more. Vijay Kiragandur, who founded the production house, named it with Puneeth’s help. Marking the third anniversary of his passing, the studio posted a monochrome picture of him, writing, “In loving memory of Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar, a legend whose life was a testament to compassion and kindness. Your memory lives on, guiding and uplifting us always. Forever in our hearts, Appu. ”

Puneeth Rajkumar died at age 46 after a cardiac arrest following a workout. He generously chose to donate his eyes, helping those in need. His wife, Ashwini, and their two daughters, Vanditha and Drithi, survive him.
