The final episode of the inaugural season of The Rana Daggubati Show celebrated Telugu cinema with an energetic and heartwarming tribute. The episode featured actor Venkatesh Daggubati, director Anil Ravipudi, and actresses Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary, joining host Rana Daggubati, who is also Venkatesh’s nephew. The guests appeared on the show to promote their upcoming festive release, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, set to hit theaters on January 14. During the lively discussion, director Anil Ravipudi humorously revealed a quirk of Venkatesh’s personality. “Venky Sir hesitates only when it comes to food,” he joked, prompting Rana to chime in, “I’ve noticed he doesn’t get angry, but he gets hangry.” Rana recounted a humorous incident from a Mumbai shoot where his uncle’s delayed lunch nearly tested his patience. “He was on the verge of losing his cool, so I quickly arranged a lunch break to save the day,” Rana shared, leaving the group in stitches.
Venkatesh recalled a particularly memorable scene from the film, where his character endured multiple slaps from Aishwarya Rajesh’s character. Laughing, he admitted, “I was slapped several times by Aishwarya’s character.” Aishwarya, known for her sharp wit, playfully asked, “Sir, has anyone hit you like that before?” Venkatesh humorously responded, “This is a first.” Aishwarya added, “I slapped him really hard for the scene. When I asked if it hurt, Venky Sir encouraged me to slap harder but finish it in one take.”
Throughout its first season, The Rana Daggubati Show hosted several notable stars, including Dulquer Salmaan, Naga Chaitanya, and Rishab Shetty, leaving a lasting impression on its audience.
