Jacqueline Fernandez reaches out to the Delhi Police Commissioner in the Sukesh Chandrasekhar case, reporting instances of harassment and threats from him.
Amidst the money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, Jacqueline Fernandez faces persistent issues as he continues to send love letters from jail. Despite Jacqueline’s denial of any association, the actress is seeking assistance from the Delhi Police Commissioner, Sanjay Arora, due to ongoing harassment and threats.
Jacqueline has reportedly written a letter to Commissioner Arora expressing her concern about the systematic failure in addressing the issue. The actress describes facing psychological pressure and targeted intimidation, prompting her to seek urgent intervention.
Earlier in December, Jacqueline approached the court, urging immediate action against Sukesh for his relentless letters, messages, and statements involving her. She emphasized that Sukesh’s threats and intimidation had caused significant distress, and she feared coercion to withhold information in a case investigated by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police.
In her recent appeal to the Commissioner, Jacqueline details Sukesh’s intimidating tactics from Mandoli Jail and appeals for the filing of an FIR to ensure her protection as a witness in a case under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
Jacqueline’s letter emphasizes the impact of these actions on witness protection, a fundamental principle in the administration of justice. She states, “These actions do not merely impinge upon my individual rights; they strike at the heart of our justice system. “The compromise of the principle of witness protection, fundamental to the administration of justice, undermines the credibility and efficacy of our legal institutions.”
Jacqueline urges the Commissioner to initiate a transparent investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, on the professional front, she is currently engaged in the shooting of ‘Welcome To The Jungle.’
