Pushpa Producer Refutes Claims that Allu Arjun Involved Himself in Jani Master Case: He’s Been Unfairly Drawn Into This
During a recent event for ‘Mathu Vadalara 2’ in Hyderabad, ‘Pushpa‘ producer Ravi Shankar faced questions about director Sukumar’s involvement and Allu Arjun’s alleged link to choreographer Jani Master’s assault case.
Last week, Jhansi, speaking for the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, mentioned that a “big hero” had promised support to the victim. This led many to speculate that she meant Allu Arjun, but Ravi Shankar denied this.
When asked if Sukumar and Allu Arjun offered any support to the victim, Ravi explained that the issue with Jani Master was personal. He said the victim worked as an additional choreographer for ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ and would continue on the project. Jani Master had planned to choreograph a special number, but the incident occurred two days before the shoot.
Ravi stressed that Allu Arjun does not involve himself in personal matters or favoritism. Arjun follows his routine, greets everyone, and does not influence work opportunities. ” Allu Arjun has been dragged into this unnecessarily. Given his position, why would he stop or promote anyone?” Ravi clarified, stating their professional relationship with both parties remained intact.
Authorities arrested Jani Master in Goa last week after the victim filed an FIR accusing him of sexual assault. Police took him into custody and presented him in court. According to PTI, a Hyderabad court placed him on a 14-day remand. Authorities are currently holding him at Chanchalguda Central Prison. The Narsingi Police registered the case on September 15 under sections 376(2)(n), 506, and 323 of the IPC, as well as the POCSO Act, 2012.
