Suspense builds over who will win in Andhra Pradesh. Both the YSRCP and TDP alliances are confident of their victory. However, interest in the results has intensified following comments by BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who stated that the alliance will win more seats in Andhra Pradesh. YSRCP chief leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has reacted to Amit Shah’s remarks, suggesting that BJP leaders are making such statements to influence voters in North India by claiming more seats in the South.

Sajjala further accused the Election Commission of favoring Chandrababu Naidu after his alliance with the BJP. He claimed that the EC has been infected with the “Chandrababu virus” and questioned how a video of Pinnelli was leaked without the EC’s knowledge. He alleged that Chandrababu formed an alliance with the BJP to manage the institutions and accused them of plotting to remove the CS before the counting process. He questioned the lack of videos of other EVMs being destroyed and claimed that the CEO issued orders against regulations.

Sajjala dismissed temporary celebrations before the results and mentioned that TDP leaders are falsely claiming that postal ballot votes are in their favor and causing chaos in Macharla. He accused them of conspiring to remove the CS and pointed out the impracticality of acquiring hundreds of acres in ten days, asserting that the TDP’s influence would end in a week.

Meanwhile, the YSRCP has expressed objections to the special guidelines issued by the EC for counting postal ballot votes, questioning why such flexibility was provided only in this state. Party leader Perni Nani asked how such guidelines could be issued at the request of one party and called for a reconsideration of the decision.

Overall, the YSRCP is expressing strong dissatisfaction with the EC’s conduct and decisions. It remains to be seen how the situation will unfold by the time the counting process begins.
