Simple recipe to make cheesy maggi:

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Maggi noodles
  • 1¼ cups water
  • 1 cheese slice (or 2 tbsp grated cheese, like mozzarella or processed cheese)
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped, optional)
  • ½ small capsicum (finely chopped, optional)
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional, for spice)
  • ½ tsp oregano or mixed herbs
  • Salt (optional, since the Maggi masala has salt)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Vegetables (Optional):
    Heat butter in a pan. Add finely chopped onions and capsicum. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until softened.
  2. Cook Maggi:
    • Add 1¼ cups of water to the same pan. Bring it to a boil.
    • Add the Maggi noodles and the masala tastemaker that comes with the pack. Stir and let it cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add Cheese:
    • Once the noodles are almost cooked (but still a bit watery), add the cheese slice or grated cheese.
    • Mix well until the cheese melts into the noodles, creating a creamy, cheesy texture.
  4. Season & Serve:
    • Sprinkle chili flakes and oregano or mixed herbs for extra flavor.
    • Stir everything together and serve hot.

Tips:

  • You can add more veggies like corn, carrots, or peas for a healthier version.
  • Adjust the cheese quantity based on how creamy you want it to be.
  • For a richer flavor, you can also add a splash of milk or cream while cooking.
