After visiting Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Saturday morning, he mentioned that it is difficult to predict who will win in Andhra Pradesh. He said that everyone is eagerly awaiting the results from Andhra and that for the first time, the pulse of the Andhra people could not be gauged. He also opined that it would not be easy for the BJP to come to power at the center this time. Regarding Telangana, Komatireddy stated that there was a tough fight between Congress and BJP and expressed confidence that Congress would definitely win 10 MP seats.
All set for vote counting…
In Andhra Pradesh, everything is ready for the counting. The votes cast in the EVMs on May 13 will be counted on the 4th of this month. The district collectors have revealed that stringent security arrangements have been made for this purpose. They have deployed police forces ranging from 4,500 to 6,000 in each district. Three-tier security arrangements have been made near the strong rooms. Collectors stated that only those with permission will be allowed into the counting hall. They mentioned that the counting process will be monitored through CCTV cameras. The counting of postal ballots will start at 8 AM, and the counting of votes in EVMs will begin at 8:30 AM.
It is known that polling for 175 Assembly constituencies and 25 parliamentary seats in Andhra Pradesh was conducted in a single phase on May 13.
