Good News for Farmers Missing Loan Waivers…

CM Revanth Reddy announced good news for farmers who haven’t received their loan waivers, suggesting they file complaints at the Collectorate. He assured that special counters would be set up under the supervision of collectors to accept complaints from such farmers. Revanth Reddy emphasized that loan waivers were carried out simultaneously on a scale never seen before, criticizing opposition parties for unnecessary complaints. He made it clear that all eligible farmers would receive loan waivers.

On Thursday, during the 78th Independence Day celebrations at Golconda in Hyderabad, CM Revanth Reddy hoisted the national flag and received the honor guard from the police personnel. In his address to the public, he highlighted that the freedom and independence of the country were the results of the sacrifices made by many great leaders and a long struggle. He credited Jawaharlal Nehru’s reforms for the country’s prosperity, noting that industries like BHEL, IDPL, and MIDHANI laid the foundation for India’s economic development. He praised former Prime Ministers Lal Bahadur Shastri and Indira Gandhi for bringing about new revolutions in agriculture and acknowledged the numerous services rendered by the Congress party to the nation.

Regarding the promises made before the elections, Revanth Reddy reiterated that the government is waiving off ₹2 lakh loans as part of the Warangal Declaration. He mentioned that two phases of waivers have already been completed and that the third phase would be initiated today. Despite claims that loan waivers were impossible, he assured that the government successfully implemented the waiver for loans up to ₹2 lakh. He acknowledged that some farmers faced technical issues in receiving their waivers and assured that they would be identified and given their due. Special counters at Collectorates will be set up to resolve issues for eligible farmers who haven’t received their waivers.

Revanth Reddy also highlighted that two out of the six guarantees made before the elections have already been implemented and mentioned restoring the former glory of the Arogyasri scheme by increasing the coverage limit to ₹10 lakhs.

Finally, CM Revanth Reddy stated that Telangana would be the gateway to the world and noted that efforts were made to invite investments during visits to the United States and South Korea.
