IT giant Cognizant has expressed interest in expanding its operations. It announced plans to establish a new center in Hyderabad, covering approximately 1 million square feet and creating jobs for around 15,000 people. During the tour, CM Revanth Reddy and IT Minister Sridhar Babu met with Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar and company representatives. The agreement for Cognizant’s expansion was finalized during a breakfast meeting. CM Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that the Telangana government is committed to providing a conducive environment for the IT sector across the state, and he believes that the new Cognizant center will encourage other global technology companies to choose Hyderabad as their main destination. He assured Cognizant of the necessary support and emphasized the positive impact on employment and the state’s economy.

Following the Cognizant deal, the prominent American company Walsh Carra Holdings agreed to invest $5 million in Telangana’s WE Hub, which supports women entrepreneurs. The Walsh Carra Holdings team met with CM Revanth Reddy to discuss the investment and signed agreements. The company’s representatives indicated plans to invest an additional approximately ₹839 crore over the next five years. CM Revanth Reddy also attended a lunch meeting with the Indian Consul General and met with representatives from other companies afterward.
