Enjoy a refreshing and creamy kiwi ice cream that’s easy to make and perfect for any season.
Here’s a simple recipe to try:
Ingredients
- 5 ripe kiwis (peeled and chopped)
- 1 cup heavy cream (chilled)
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Kiwi Puree
- Blend the chopped kiwis in a blender or food processor until smooth.
- If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the puree to remove seeds.
- Add sugar to the puree, mix well, and let it sit for 10 minutes to dissolve.
2. Whip the Cream
- In a mixing bowl, whip the chilled heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
3. Combine the Mixtures
- Gradually fold the kiwi puree into the cream mixture. Mix until evenly combined.
4. Freeze the Ice Cream
- Pour the mixture into an airtight container.
- Cover and freeze for at least 4–6 hours or until set. Stir the mixture every 2 hours to avoid ice crystals for a smoother texture.
5. Serve and Enjoy
- Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones and garnish with fresh kiwi slices or mint leaves.
