Lakshmi Manchu on Her Move to Mumbai: Support from Friends and Overcoming Challenges
- Initial Stay and Encouragement: During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Lakshmi Manchu revealed that in her early days in Mumbai, she stayed at her best friend Rakul Preet Singh’s house. Rakul had always encouraged her to make the move.
- Advice from Rana Daggubati: Lakshmi also mentioned a conversation with Rana Daggubati, who advised her that staying in Hyderabad forever would not be conducive to her career growth.
- Support from Ram Charan: Facing housing challenges upon her arrival in Mumbai, Lakshmi recounted how Ram Charan came to her aid by offering his house for her to stay in. She said, “At that time, Ram Charan helped me. I did not tell anybody because if people found out I was living at his house, they would not give me work. I also told Charan not to tell anyone.”
Despite feeling out of place in such a luxurious home, Ram Charan reassured her to use the house, noting that it was practical for the space to be lived in and that it would ensure the utilities functioned properly.
Additionally, Lakshmi revealed that she is part of a large WhatsApp group consisting of 142 actors, including Ram Charan, Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, and other prominent figures. This group allows actors to support one another by promoting their films and projects.
