Rebel star Prabhas is currently basking in the tremendous success of his sci-fi action drama ‘Kalki 2898AD,’ directed by Nag Ashwin. After the film crossed the Rs 1000-crore milestone at the box office, the actor has returned to the sets, embracing the role of the ‘classic cool guy’ in Director Maruthi’s ‘The Raja Saab.’ The producers ignited excitement this week by dropping a fresh teaser featuring the actor in this horror romantic comedy, and the clip is already creating a stir on social media.
On July 29, Prabhas took to his official Instagram account to present the first glimpse of his comeback to the big screen, highlighting his classic charm. The video showcases him making a dramatic entrance on his motorcycle, exuding charisma with a bouquet in hand. His stylish look, enhanced by sunglasses, has fans abuzz with enthusiasm. Along with providing fans a new teaser to enjoy, the creators have ramped up anticipation by announcing that the film will hit theaters on April 10, 2025.
Fans have shown immense excitement for Prabhas’ return in this retro style, especially after his striking performance in the futuristic role of ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’ One fan commented, “Super Hero into Vintage Darling,” while another noted, “Vintage darling sweet smiles.”
Currently, the film has completed 40% of its shooting, with another major schedule set to begin on August 2nd. The soundtrack features compositions by SS Thaman, while Ram Laxman Masters and King Solomon handle the action choreography. Kamalakannan R.C., renowned for his work on ‘Baahubali,’ is responsible for the VFX.
Directed by Maruthi, ‘The Raja Saab’ will release widely in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
