Celebrating Raj Kapoor: A Legacy of 100 Glorious Years

Saif Ali Khan’s Gesture of Helping Kareena Kapoor Reflects His Nawabi Grace

The Kapoor family recently gathered to honor Showman Raj Kapoor’s legacy and celebrate his 100 years of contributions to Indian cinema. Prominent family members, including Randhir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, Reema Jain, and Aadar Jain, joined the event. In a touching moment that fans captured on video, Saif Ali Khan helped Kareena get up after the family posed for a group photo.

Meanwhile, the Kapoor family personally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the opening of the Raj Kapoor Film Festival. During their meeting, PM Modi warmly interacted with the family and expressed his interest in meeting Kareena and Saif’s children, Taimur and Jeh. Saif mentioned that PM Modi was the first Prime Minister he had ever met and appreciated the leader’s personal touch and positive energy. Additionally, he thanked the PM for his accessibility and hard work. In response, PM Modi humorously noted that he missed the chance to meet the third generation of the Kapoor family. Kareena later shared a picture of an autograph that PM Modi signed for her kids, adding a special touch to the occasion.

The Raj Kapoor Film Festival will celebrate the legendary actor-director’s 100th birth anniversary from December 13 to December 15. The festival will showcase restored versions of 10 iconic films, including Mera Naam Joker, Sangam, Ram Teri Ganga Maili, and Aag. Organizers will hold screenings at PVR-Inox and Cinepolis theaters in Mumbai, pricing tickets at Rs 100.
