Shahid Kapoor is currently immersed in shooting his upcoming action-packed film Deva, where he stars alongside Pooja Hegde. Recently, a fan page on X (formerly Twitter) shared a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the sets. The clip shows Shahid in a rugged look, dressed in a white shirt and khaki trousers, as he leans on a bike with a cigarette in hand. The scene, reportedly from a wedding sequence, features Shahid’s buzz haircut, which adds to his intense appearance. The video also includes a giant artwork of Amitabh Bachchan from his iconic film Deewaar, adding a nostalgic touch.
Fans are already buzzing with excitement. One fan captioned the video, “These Deva leaks are getting me pumped up [fire emojis] #ShahidKapoor Absolute MASS.”
Rosshan Andrrews, known for his Malayalam blockbusters Salute and Kayamkulam Kochunni, directs Deva. Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a cop, and Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films are jointly producing the movie.
Last month, Shahid Kapoor unveiled the official poster of Deva on Instagram. The poster shows him holding a gun with a grim expression against a dusty backdrop. A scar marks his muscular arm, hinting at intense action sequences. Shahid confirmed the film’s release date as February 14, 2025, promising fans a “VIOLENT VALENTINE’S DAY.”
In a previous interview with PTI, Shahid described his role in Deva as challenging and exciting. He highlighted the film’s blend of action, story, and thrilling twists. Shahid expressed his enthusiasm for the character, noting that it is full of surprises, making his time on set both enjoyable and stimulating.
