By Intruder Stabs Saif Ali Khan Six Times at Bandra Home: Reports
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, husband of actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, has reportedly sustained six injuries after an intruder broke into his Mumbai residence. The incident occurred late Wednesday night when the assailant entered the actor’s home and allegedly stabbed him.
Mumbai Police confirmed that the intruder argued with Saif’s maid, and when the actor tried to intervene, the individual attacked him, causing injuries. The police are investigating the matter and working to trace the suspect, who fled the scene following the attack. An FIR is being registered against the perpetrator.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 2:30 am and is believed to have been a burglary attempt. A senior IPS officer mentioned that the Mumbai crime branch is also conducting a parallel investigation into the case.
Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, provided an update on Saif’s condition, revealing that the actor was admitted with six injuries, including two deeper wounds, one of which was near his spine. The medical team is currently operating on him, and the extent of the damage will be assessed after the surgery.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, married since 2012, reside in the Satguru Sharan building in Bandra West, Mumbai, along with their two sons, Taimur (8) and Jeh (4).
