Revanth Reddy Reviews Jubilee Hills Byelection, Predicts Decisive Win for Congress

Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A. Revanth Reddy has expressed strong confidence that the Congress party will secure a decisive victory in the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly byelection. Chairing a high-level review meeting with key ministers, party coordinators, and senior leaders, the Chief Minister said that the Congress is well-positioned to retain the prestigious constituency, which has historically been a stronghold for the party.

“The people of Jubilee Hills trust the Congress. They have seen the difference our government has made in less than a year. This byelection will reaffirm that trust,” Revanth Reddy stated during the meeting held at Pragathi Bhavan on Thursday.

Meeting Focused on Ground-Level Strategy

The review meeting was attended by several Cabinet ministers including T. Jeevan Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, D. Sridhar Babu, and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, as well as local Congress leaders and coordinators from the Hyderabad district. The Chief Minister sought detailed reports on booth-level organization, voter engagement, and campaign coordination.

Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of door-to-door campaigning, interaction with local associations, and highlighting the state government’s welfare and development initiatives. He directed the party cadre to ensure strong communication of the Congress government’s achievements, particularly in urban development, women’s welfare, and youth employment.

Highlighting Congress Government’s Achievements

The Chief Minister told ministers that the Jubilee Hills voters, being highly aware and urban, respond well to results-oriented governance. He listed several achievements of his government since assuming office, including the implementation of six key guarantees, progress in health and housing schemes, and investments in IT infrastructure within Hyderabad.

Revanth Reddy stated, “Our focus on good governance and people-centric policies is visible across Telangana. Whether it’s the new urban development initiatives, upgraded health facilities, or our efforts to attract global investors to Hyderabad, every citizen can see the change. Jubilee Hills represents the pulse of this transformation.”

He said the Congress campaign would focus on this “visible change” narrative, contrasting it with the “stagnation and arrogance” of the previous BRS regime.

Targeting the Opposition

Without naming the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) or Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) directly, the Chief Minister took sharp jabs at the opposition parties, accusing them of misleading the public with false propaganda. “Those who neglected the people of Hyderabad for years are now trying to exploit this byelection for political revival. The people are smart enough to reject them,” he said.

Revanth Reddy warned the party cadre not to be complacent despite favorable public sentiment. “We must work hard in every division, meet every voter, and ensure our message reaches every household. Elections are won by effort, not assumptions,” he told the gathering.

Ministers Assigned Specific Responsibilities

During the meeting, the Chief Minister assigned specific zones of Jubilee Hills constituency to various ministers and senior leaders. They were instructed to coordinate with local booth committees and youth groups to streamline campaign activities.

He also reviewed the performance of local leaders in the area, asking them to strengthen outreach efforts and ensure a united front. “Internal unity and disciplined campaigning will be our biggest strengths. Every leader must focus on teamwork rather than personal ambitions,” Revanth advised.

Focus on Youth and Urban Voters

Recognizing the demographic profile of Jubilee Hills, the Chief Minister stressed the need to connect with young professionals, entrepreneurs, and first-time voters. He urged the IT and social media cells of the party to amplify the government’s initiatives online.

“The youth of Jubilee Hills are active, aspirational, and aware. They expect efficient governance and visionary leadership. We must communicate how Congress is building a modern Telangana that supports startups, jobs, and innovation,” Revanth Reddy said.

The meeting also discussed outreach programs for senior citizens, self-help groups, and resident welfare associations. Ministers were told to organize community meetings and development reviews highlighting government achievements in the constituency.

CM to Lead Campaign Personally

Revanth Reddy announced that he would personally lead the campaign in Jubilee Hills, addressing rallies and public meetings to connect with citizens directly. He said that the party’s campaign theme will center on “Development, Transparency, and Accountability.”

“The people of Jubilee Hills have seen how quickly our government took charge of pending urban projects and improved civic infrastructure. This byelection is not about politics; it’s about continuity of progress,” he asserted.

He also called on party workers to maintain decorum during campaigning and avoid personal attacks. “We must set an example of positive campaigning that reflects our values,” he said.

Confidence in a Decisive Victory

Expressing optimism about the outcome, the Chief Minister said internal surveys and feedback from the ground suggested a comfortable Congress victory. “People are satisfied with our governance. They are responding positively to our outreach. Jubilee Hills will give us a mandate that strengthens our government further,” he declared.

Revanth Reddy concluded the meeting by thanking the ministers and workers for their dedication and urged them to stay in constant touch with the public until polling day
