Today, Apple launched the second developer beta for iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2, unveiling major enhancements to its Apple Intelligence AI platform. The update introduces new features, including image generation capabilities and integration with ChatGPT.
The highlight of the release, Image Playground, enables users to generate AI-crafted images using natural language prompts. This tool is available within Messages and as a standalone app, though it currently supports only animation and illustration styles, not photorealistic images.
