Dhurandhar 2 Box Office: Worldwide Gross Reaches ₹1,466.47 Crore in Two Weeks

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office: Worldwide Gross Reaches ₹1,466.47 Crore in Two Weeks

Dhurandhar 2 box office collection has reached another massive milestone as Ranveer Singh’s action thriller crossed an estimated ₹1,466.47 crore worldwide after completing two weeks in theatres. The film, officially titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has continued its extraordinary theatrical run despite witnessing a natural slowdown during its second week. According to industry-tracking data cited by several media outlets, the film had earned ₹1,101.47 crore in India gross and ₹365 crore from overseas markets by Day 14.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has emerged as one of the biggest Hindi-language blockbusters, powered by Ranveer Singh’s performance, strong audience response and sustained business across domestic and international markets.

Dhurandhar 2 Crosses ₹1,466 Crore Worldwide

The biggest headline from the second week is the film’s worldwide total.

By the end of Day 14, Dhurandhar 2 had reportedly accumulated ₹1,466.47 crore worldwide. Its overseas business stood at approximately ₹365 crore, while the India gross reached ₹1,101.47 crore. The film’s India net collection was reported at ₹920.02 crore at that stage.

The numbers are particularly impressive because the film achieved this milestone within only 14 days.

The film’s second Wednesday collection was around ₹20.10 crore net in India, marking a decline from the previous day’s ₹27.75 crore. However, even after the drop, the overall total remained strong enough to keep the movie firmly in the race for the ₹1,500 crore worldwide milestone.

Second Week Remains Strong Despite a Drop

Like most major blockbusters, Dhurandhar 2 experienced a noticeable decline during its second week.

The film’s first-week performance was extraordinary, with domestic net collections reaching approximately ₹674.14 crore according to NDTV’s report based on tracking data. During the second week, the film added another ₹245.85 crore in domestic collections, taking its India net total to ₹920.02 crore.

This means the second week remained commercially powerful even though the daily numbers were lower than the opening week.

The decline is not necessarily a sign of weak audience interest. For a film that has already collected hundreds of crores in its first week, a reduction in daily collections is expected as the initial rush settles.

Overseas Markets Give Dhurandhar 2 a Major Boost

International markets have played a major role in the film’s global success.

By Day 14, the overseas gross had reached approximately ₹365 crore. The film added around ₹7 crore from international markets on its second Wednesday alone.

The overseas performance has helped Dhurandhar 2 maintain an enormous worldwide total even as domestic daily collections began slowing.

Markets outside India are increasingly important for large Indian productions, particularly films with strong action elements and recognizable stars. In the case of Dhurandhar 2, Ranveer Singh’s popularity and the scale of Aditya Dhar’s action-driven storytelling appear to have helped the film connect with audiences beyond India.

Ranveer Singh Continues to Drive the Film

At the centre of the film’s box-office success is Ranveer Singh, who returns as Hamza Ali Mazari.

The character is an undercover Indian agent operating inside Karachi’s dangerous underworld. The sequel expands his story and explores his rise within the Lyari gang network while also revealing more about his past as Jaskirat Singh Rangi.

Ranveer’s transformation for the role and his intense screen presence have been widely discussed since the first film.

The sequel also brings back several important members of the cast, including R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. Their combined presence has helped turn the film into a large-scale ensemble action drama.

Dhurandhar 2 Beats Several Major Box Office Benchmarks

The film’s ₹1,466.47 crore worldwide figure has placed it among the biggest Indian box-office performers.

According to reports based on industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 became the first Bollywood film to cross ₹1,400 crore worldwide. It also moved ahead of several major blockbusters in terms of their reported lifetime collections.

At the two-week stage, the film was also ahead of Pushpa 2 in worldwide earnings at the same point in their theatrical runs, although comparisons can vary depending on the period and methodology used for tracking collections.

The bigger benchmarks remained Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Dangal, whose reported lifetime worldwide totals were considerably higher.

The ₹1,500 Crore Target Comes Into Focus

With ₹1,466.47 crore already in the bag, the next obvious target became the ₹1,500 crore worldwide mark.

The film needed roughly ₹33.5 crore more to reach that milestone based on the Day 14 total.

Several reports suggested that the film could potentially cross ₹1,500 crore within the following few days if it maintained reasonable occupancy. However, the slowdown in daily collections meant that the pace would depend heavily on weekend performance and competition from other releases.

The possibility of reaching ₹1,500 crore so quickly demonstrates just how extraordinary the film’s initial theatrical run was.

Domestic Box Office Remains the Biggest Contributor

Although overseas markets contributed an impressive ₹365 crore, India remained the film’s biggest revenue source.

The reported India gross stood at ₹1,101.47 crore after two weeks, while India net collections reached ₹920.02 crore.

The Hindi version remained the primary contributor. On Day 14, the Hindi version reportedly collected ₹18.75 crore net, while Telugu contributed around ₹0.85 crore, Tamil ₹0.30 crore, Kannada ₹0.15 crore and Malayalam ₹0.05 crore.

This shows that although the film was released in multiple languages, its Hindi market remained the central engine behind the domestic performance.

The Film’s Story Continues Beyond the Action

The success of Dhurandhar 2 is not based solely on large action sequences.

The film continues the story established in the first instalment, following Hamza’s dangerous infiltration of Karachi’s criminal underworld. At the same time, the sequel explores his personal history and transformation into the character audiences know as Hamza Ali Mazari.

The combination of espionage, crime, action and personal drama has helped the film attract audiences looking for a large-scale theatrical experience.

Aditya Dhar’s direction also gives the film a larger geopolitical backdrop, allowing the story to operate on a much bigger scale than a conventional action movie.

R Madhavan’s Theatre Visit Adds to the Buzz

Interestingly, the film generated another viral moment when R. Madhavan, who plays Ajay Sanyal, was reportedly spotted watching Dhurandhar 2 in a theatre alongside ordinary moviegoers.

A video of Madhavan watching the film was shared online and quickly attracted attention. The actor appeared to be experiencing the audience response to the movie from inside a regular theatre rather than at a special industry screening.

The moment added another layer to the film’s ongoing popularity and showed that even members of the cast were interested in experiencing the theatrical response firsthand.

Can Dhurandhar 2 Challenge the Biggest Indian Blockbusters?

At ₹1,466.47 crore worldwide after two weeks, Dhurandhar 2 had already entered elite territory.

However, reaching the lifetime totals of the biggest Indian blockbusters would require the film to maintain strong collections for several more weeks.

Baahubali 2 reportedly finished at around ₹1,788.06 crore worldwide, while Dangal stands at approximately ₹2,070.30 crore. Pushpa 2 reportedly earned around ₹1,742.10 crore worldwide.

The gap means Dhurandhar 2 still had a long way to go to challenge the absolute top performers. But reaching ₹1,466.47 crore in just two weeks had already established the film as a major box-office phenomenon.

Final Verdict: A Historic Two-Week Run

The Dhurandhar 2 box office collection has become one of the biggest stories in Indian cinema. With a reported worldwide gross of ₹1,466.47 crore after 14 days, the Ranveer Singh-led film has demonstrated extraordinary strength in both domestic and overseas markets.

Its second-week numbers were lower than the opening week, but that decline did little to change the bigger picture. The film remained comfortably ahead of the ₹1,400 crore mark and was rapidly approaching ₹1,500 crore worldwide.

For Ranveer Singh, Aditya Dhar and the entire team, the film’s two-week performance represents a remarkable theatrical achievement. Whether it could eventually challenge the biggest worldwide Indian blockbusters remained the next major question—but at ₹1,466.47 crore, Dhurandhar 2 had already secured its place among the era’s biggest box-office successes.
