Kanguva Release Postponed: Suriya’s Epic to Hit Screens on November
The release of the highly anticipated Suriya-starrer Kanguva, directed by Siva, has been rescheduled. Initially set for October 10, 2024, the film has been pushed to November 14, 2024, coinciding with Children’s Day. This change follows the announcement of Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, which is also slated for October 10.
Bollywood actress Disha Patani stars opposite Suriya in this high-budget film, with Bobby Deol playing the antagonist. The supporting cast includes Mrunal Thakur, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarla, and Redin Kingsley. Announcing the new release date, the production house stated, “The Battle of Pride and Glory, for the World to Witness ⚔🔥 #Kanguva’s mighty reign storms screens from 14-11-24 🤎#KanguvaFromNov14 🦅”.
Producer KE Gnanavel Raja, who is behind Kanguva, previously mentioned that both he and Suriya hold great respect for Rajinikanth. Originally, Kanguva was set for October 10, assuming Vettaiyan would release during Diwali. However, with Vettaiyan now confirmed for an October 10 release, Kanguva has been shifted to November.
