His wife, Mounika, asked the media to respect their privacy while helping him navigate through the crowd. Manoj eventually entered his vehicle with help from the security staff.
According to a report from Gulte.com, Manoj called emergency services to report that an aide, allegedly acting on his father’s instructions, had assaulted him. Mohan Babu also contacted the police, claiming that Manoj attacked him. The disagreement, believed to have been about property matters, escalated further. Manoj later visited the police station, where he filed a complaint and presented evidence of his injuries. Mohan Babu denied the allegations, describing them as baseless.
This incident adds to the history of public disputes within the Manchu family. In 2023, Manoj and his elder brother, Vishnu Manchu, physically confronted each other. A viral video captured Vishnu trying to force his way into Manoj’s home while security personnel restrained him. Manoj accused Vishnu of misbehaving with his family after the incident. Family tensions reportedly worsened after Manoj married Bhuma Mounika, a decision that Vishnu allegedly did not approve of.
