Once enacted, no coaching center in the state will be permitted to operate without obtaining a valid registration certificate.
“These coaching institutes largely function in an unregulated space, attracting lakhs of students each year with assurances of guaranteed success in competitive exams such as NEET, IIT-JEE, IIM entrance tests, and CLAT. Rajasthan Government However, the exaggerated claims and intense pressure created by many of these institutes often leave students disillusioned when actual results fail to meet their expectations. According to the provisions of this bill, all coaching centers in Rajasthan must register and comply with regulatory norms, ensuring they meet the minimum operational standards. A designated authority will oversee the registration process, enforce student protection measures, and prevent fraudulent advertising, misleading claims, and deceptive marketing strategies used by coaching institutes.
In cases where coaching institutes have multiple branches, each branch will be treated as an independent entity and will be required to obtain separate registration. The registration certificate will remain valid for three years unless revoked earlier due to violations.
Once enacted, the law will strictly prohibit coaching institutes from making false promises or guaranteeing specific ranks and high scores to lure students.
Weekly Off is Compulsory
