Section 144 imposed around tenth exam centers in Telugu states..


Hyderabad, March 18: The tenth grade exams have commenced in Telugu states. The exams started on Monday (March 18) at 9:30 AM. In Andhra Pradesh, exams began across 3,473 centers throughout the state. A total of 623,092 students are appearing for the exams. Among them, 102,528 students who failed in the previous year’s tenth grade have reappeared for the exams after paying the exam fees again. The exam timings are from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM as directed by authorities. In the state, 130 exam centers have been identified as sensitive exam centers where CC TV cameras have been installed for surveillance. Question papers with QR codes have been provided to students to prevent malpractice.

Now, in Telangana as well, the tenth-grade exams started peacefully today at 9:30 AM. These exams will continue until April 2. Authorities have allowed a grace period of 5 minutes for students who arrived late due to any reason, which was appreciated by the students. Officials have permitted students to enter the exam centers until 9:35 AM. A total of 2,676 exam centers have been set up across the state. Approximately 5.05 lakh students in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are appearing for the tenth-grade exams. RTC buses are providing free transportation to students showing their hall tickets.
