Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has urged state officials to ensure strict adherence to the SC, ST Sub-Plan Act, emphasizing its vital role in promoting social and economic development for marginalized communities.
In a detailed review held on Wednesday, Vikramarka met with senior officials from 32 different departments to discuss the status of implementation. He specifically sought reports regarding the expenditure incurred by each department to fulfill the provisions of the Sub-Plan Act, and how funds allocated for these initiatives were utilized.

The Deputy Chief Minister also inquired about unspent funds from the previous financial year, pushing for transparency and accountability in the allocation and usage of resources dedicated to the welfare of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).
