By Director Venkat Prabhu recently shared updates about the much-anticipated Tamil film ‘GOAT’ (Greatest of All Time), featuring Vijay in the lead role. The director revealed that the film’s next shooting schedule has commenced, with the climax shooting also on the horizon. Venkat Prabhu mentioned that after the overseas shoot for a crucial sequence, the film will enter its final stages of production and wrap up.
Addressing queries about the film’s release plan, Venkat Prabhu hinted at the imminent release of posters, possibly during a festive occasion. He disclosed that the first single from the movie is expected to be released in May. Refuting rumors about ‘GOAT’ being a remake of the Hollywood film ‘The Gemini Man,’ the director clarified that it is an original story, with Vijay playing a dual role.
Venkat Prabhu reassured fans not to be confused if they see posters featuring two versions of Vijay, emphasizing that it’s related to the film’s plot. ‘GOAT’ is categorized as an action entertainer, boasting a star-studded cast, including Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal, Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, Parvathi Nair, VTV Ganesh, Yogi Babu, Premji Amaran, Vaibhav, and others. The film’s music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Vijay, after ‘GOAT,’ is expected to sign one more film before focusing on his political career, as he recently launched his own political party.
