By Dhanush and Venky Atluri’s Reunion Titled with a Vintage Touch
Following the massive success of Vaathi, directed by Venky Atluri and starring Dhanush, which grossed over ₹100 crore, the director has delivered another hit with Lucky Bhaskar. Featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary, the film earned critical acclaim and achieved a global box office collection of ₹110 crore.
Adding to the excitement, Vaathi producer Vamsi recently confirmed at a press event that Venky Atluri and Dhanush are teaming up once again for a new project. The latest buzz suggests the film will be titled Honest Raj. An official announcement is eagerly awaited, sparking speculation and anticipation among fans.
Interestingly, the title Honest Raj was also used for Vijayakanth’s 1994 Tamil classic. It remains to be seen whether the new film will have any connection to the earlier one or if the title holds a surprise element.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is gearing up for the release of his directorial ventures NEEK, Idli Kadai, and Kubera, with back-to-back launches scheduled over the next six months. He has also announced collaborations with Vetri Maaran and Rajkumar Periyasamy, making his schedule packed with exciting projects.
Venky Atluri, who has established himself as a prominent South Indian director with consecutive blockbusters, has fans eagerly waiting to see if he can maintain his winning streak with this much-anticipated reunion.
