According to reports, the policy is poised to introduce a variety of exciting river cruise routes, capitalizing on the state’s vast river network. A key highlight is the Nandurbar-Statue of Unity route, which is expected to become a major draw for tourists. Additionally, the Vashishti River in Konkan and the Godavari River in Nashik have been earmarked for cruise tourism. To support this growing sector, new ports will be constructed along the Konkan coast, improving connectivity and accessibility.
