By Allu Aravind Confidently Declares ‘Thandel’ as Naga Chaitanya’s Ultimate Career-Defining Blockbuster
Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are gearing up for the release of their upcoming romantic action drama, Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, which is set to hit theatres on February 7, 2025. During a recent promotional event, renowned filmmaker Allu Aravind made a striking statement about the film.
According to a report by 123Telugu, Allu Aravind showered praise on Naga Chaitanya, calling his performance in Thandel the best of his career. He confidently predicted that the film would become the highest-grossing project for the actor. He stated, “Naga Chaitanya has delivered a phenomenal performance in Thandel. Making such a claim at this stage might seem risky, but this is undoubtedly his career-best performance. I assure you, Thandel will also be the highest-grossing film of his career.”
The movie is inspired by the real-life story of a fisherman who unintentionally strays into Pakistani waters and is subsequently imprisoned.
The promotional campaign for Thandel is in full swing, with the release of its third single, Hilesso Hilessa, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, further building excitement among fans.
With a budget of ₹75 crores, Thandel ranks as one of the most expensive films in Naga Chaitanya’s career. One of its highlights is a grand dance sequence featuring 900 specially trained dancers, created at an estimated cost of ₹4 crores. Additionally, the filmmakers have secured impressive deals for the movie’s digital and satellite rights, adding to its pre-release buzz.
