Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi Release Delayed Due to ‘Unavoidable Circumstances’
The release of the Tamil film Vidaamuyarchi, starring Ajith, has been postponed due to “unavoidable circumstances.” Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the action thriller was initially slated for a Pongal 2025 release. Alongside Ajith, the film features Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra in key roles.
Lyca Productions, the studio behind Vidaamuyarchi, announced the delay on its official X (formerly Twitter) page on Tuesday night. Sharing New Year greetings, the production house wrote, “Wishing everyone a Happy New Year 2025! Due to unavoidable circumstances, the release of VIDAAMUYARCHI is postponed from Pongal! Kindly stay tuned for further updates! The wait will be worth it!
Ajith, one of the most celebrated stars in the Tamil film industry, has an illustrious career spanning over 60 films. He has delivered blockbuster hits such as Aasai, Kadhal Kottai, Citizen, Villain, and Varalaru. Known for his versatility and charisma, Ajith continues to command a massive fan following.
