YSRCP leaders filed a complaint with the EC regarding the attack on Jagan, alleging that the coalition leaders are incensed by Jagan’s growing popularity. In the complaint, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and Malladi Vishnu mentioned that Chandrababu is inciting violence with his speeches.
Speaking later, YSRCP senior leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy stated that the attack on Jagan was a conspiracy. Sajjala showed several videos of Chandrababu’s speeches where he allegedly incited the public before the attack on Jagan. He described the incident as a cold-blooded, planned murder attempt.
Sajjala claimed that the attack on Jagan was part of a politically motivated conspiracy, suggesting that the attack was planned meticulously. He pointed out that Chandrababu had recently incited people to throw stones at Jagan. According to Sajjala, the statements made by TDP leaders make it seem like they were behind the attack. Sajjala also visited the injured Vellampalli Srinivas, who was hurt in the incident alongside Jagan.
MP Mithun Reddy expressed concern over the Vijayawada attack incident, calling such events in politics unfortunate. He alleged that the attack was part of a politically motivated conspiracy targeting Jagan. He also said that physical attacks have no place in democracy.
Minister Buggana Rajendranath criticized the instigating remarks from the opposition that led to such atrocities. He expressed dismay at the attack on the Chief Minister and the freedom of opposition leaders to speak as they please. He condemned the remarks made by Achchennaidu and Lokesh, questioning whether anyone would provoke others to throw stones and inflict injuries. Buggana said that people are observing everything.”
