On the 11th day of our Siddhant bus journey, YSRCP leader and Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy accompanied us. The bus journey commenced from Venkatachalam Palli, and as it progressed towards Godavari Palli, CM YS Jagan boarded the bus from Venkatachalam Palli. Along the route, which included Bodanampadu, Kurichedu, Chintala Cheruvu, Podili Junction, and Cheekatigala Palem, people warmly welcomed CM Jagan.
During the journey, CM Jagan interacted with the public at roadshows, actively engaging in the electoral campaigns happening across Andhra Pradesh. He received accolades and blessings from the people as he advanced through the villages and towns.
CM Jagan also took the opportunity to explain various welfare schemes implemented by the YSRCP government. The crowds in villages like Chintala Cheruvu warmly received him, indicating their support for the government’s initiatives. Many people attended these events, irrespective of age or social status, demonstrating their enthusiasm and interest in the governance.
In the evening, until around 6 PM, roadshows were conducted where CM Jagan continued interacting with the public. He addressed concerns and queries raised by the people and explained the various welfare programs undertaken by his administration.
During one such interaction, CM Jagan elaborated on the pension scheme. He explained the reasons behind the delay in distributing pensions, addressing concerns raised by volunteers who visited homes on April 1st. He clarified that the government had increased the pension amount from Rs. 200 to Rs. 3000, demonstrating the commitment of his administration towards the welfare of the elderly.
