Mumbai Police Assert ‘False Complaint’ Filed Against Raveena Tandon: Car Didn’t Hit Anyone, Actress Wasn’t Intoxicated

During their investigation into the road rage incident involving actress Raveena Tandon, the Mumbai Police determined that she was not intoxicated and that her car did not collide with anyone, an official confirmed on Sunday.

In a viral video, a man alleged that Raveena Tandon’s driver struck his mother and then began assaulting her when confronted. The man claimed the incident occurred while he was walking with his mother, sister, and niece near the actress’s house. However, according to recent reports, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rajtilak Roshan of Zone 9 stated that the complaint was “false.”

Mumbai Police Clarifies Details of Raveena Tandon Incident

  • The complainant provided a false statement in the alleged video. Upon reviewing the entire CCTV footage of the society, it was observed that the actress’s driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when the family was crossing the same lane. The family halted the car and advised the driver to ensure no one was behind the vehicle before reversing, leading to an altercation.
  • According to the Khar police official, CCTV footage from the vicinity of the Khar-based building, where the incident occurred, indicated that women were near the actor’s car but were not struck by it.
  • As tensions escalated, Raveena arrived at the scene to check on her driver and shield him from the crowd. Subsequently, both Raveena and her driver visited the Khar police station to lodge complaints but later withdrew them.
