Defeat of Revanth Reddy inevitable: Jeevan Reddy

Senior leader T Jeevan Reddy predicted the defeat of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in the next elections and praised the previous BRS government. He confirmed his decision to join the BRS and will meet working president KT Rama Rao to formalise the move.

Jagtial: Senior political leader T Jeevan Reddy predicted that the defeat of the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in the next elections is inevitable. Before meeting with the BRS working president KT Rama Rao, he spoke to media persons here on Thursday.

Jeevan Reddy’s decision is being seen as a strategic political move, especially at a time when party alignments are undergoing rapid changes in the state. For the past few weeks, he had maintained a guarded stance, neither confirming nor denying reports about his next step, which had fueled intense political speculation.

He praised the previous government stating that the ten years BRS regime was better than that of the two years governance of the present congress government. Stating that the congress government failed in all fields, he predicted that BRS is going to capture power by winning the next election.

Jeevan Reddy, who has been tight lipped about his political joining, announced that he has decided to join the BRS and is going to meet BRS working president KT Rama Rao.

Sources close to him indicate that his decision to join BRS comes after careful consideration of the current political landscape and the party’s growing focus on strengthening its base ahead of future elections. His entry is expected to add experience and regional influence to the party, particularly in constituencies where he has a strong presence.

Political analysts believe that his move could have a ripple effect, potentially encouraging other leaders who are currently undecided about their political future to take a clear stand. It may also intensify competition among major parties in Telangana, especially as BRS continues efforts to consolidate its position.

Jeevan Reddy is likely to meet K.T. Rama Rao in the coming days, after which an official announcement regarding his joining, along with possible responsibilities within the party, is expected. His supporters have already begun preparations to mark the occasion, indicating that the transition could be accompanied by a show of strength.

This development adds a new dimension to the evolving political scenario in Telangana, with all eyes now on how other parties respond to this shift.
